has set its fee policy to promote access to psychoanalytic
psychotherapy and counselling by those who could not afford this
intervention privately. Treatments undertaken in the private
sector are arranged at around the £70 to £90 mark.
If you are
seeking psychotherapy & counselling and can afford to pay
according to our standard fee rates, these are set at 1/1000th
of your annual income, plus a charge of £7.00 which covers the
administration costs. For
instance, if you are earning £25K the fee would be £25.00 plus
the £7.00 to total £32.00.
The
standard rate fees are used to support the low-fee and
subsidised fee work that LACAP can offer to other patients. If
the fee above of £32.00 was charged, the admin costs would be
£7.00, the therapist would receive £17.64 and a contribution
of £7.36 will be made-over to the low-fee support fund.
Unwaged,
student or similar applicants may expect the fee per session to
be between £8.00 and £11.00. Applications to Lacap's
subsidised fee schemes would be suitable from those with annual
incomes between £10,000 & £20,000 per year. |
