| This is all about making one-off reservations. A one-off reservation is when you are booking in for an extraordinary session with a patient that is outside of the normally agreed times and outside of your normal work-shift. The only thing to really get your head around is that you can view in appointment grid mode from two directions. By default the appointment grid opens with your name & personal work diary. That visual diary display is organised according to schedules that you have organised in therapist mode. Therefore the diary view will not show days that you are not normally working, and days that you have marked as off. You will also have no idea if other therapists are using rooms. Shift view ! - on the left-hand side use 'Select Room' and select by room number. Interrogate for empty space in the select rooms view of the appointment grid. Proceed to book in the one-off as usual. | | Caution: Remember that if you have de-selected rooms in the Therapists Mode Section, then you will be debarred from overriding that and trying to use a room not authorised in that section. If you cannot find room space in your usual room(s), you must go into Therapist Mode - Rooms, and you must update there to include more room options.
