When you are sure that you want to proceed you can use either the "online appointment booker" or send us an email request.

  • Initial Consultations are made by you using our Online Appointment Booker.

  • Use the Appointment Booker to select the therapist that you want to see, and to book an appointment time that you want.

  • Use the Appointment Booker to check & calculate the fee charged.

  • Arrange to talk with the therapist before arranging a meeting.

  • If you send us the inquiry by email, we will respond within two working days, offering you an appointment time.

At Lacap, everything starts with the initial consultation with one of our senior therapists. At that consultation, the therapist wants to understand in some depth the difficulties that are bringing you along, and to construct an appropriate offer based on that to take things forward from there. The consultation will also give you the opportunity to ask the therapist what you need to know about therapy, and whether it can be a correct intervention for you.

At LACAP we make individual offers that are ''tailor-made' for your particular case. In the event that the therapist does not recommend psychotherapy, you will receive best advice as to how to proceed from there.

Please email the Referrals Therapist if you have an enquiry, want more information, or need to discuss how we work.

The Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) exists to promote and maintain the profession of Psychotherapy and the highest standards in the practice of psychotherapy. The Council has the greatest majority of the reputable Psychotherapy Organisations in the United Kingdom as its members.

Lacap therapists are required to adhere to the Codes of Ethics and Practice of their own organisation, which are consistent with those approved by the PP section of the UKCP, the BACP or BPS. These are available from the UKCP, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1N 5FB. LACAP therapists are required to provide information concerning these Codes upon request.
